Privacy is part of how Reinor is built.
Effective 3 October 2026. This policy explains how Reinor handles information in the Parent and Child apps and on reinor.app.
Who this policy applies to
Reinor is a parental-control service intended for parents or legal guardians managing Android devices used by children in their care. The Parent app is used by the parent or guardian. The Child app runs on a paired child device under that parent or guardian's supervision.
Information Reinor processes
Depending on the features you use, Reinor may process:
- Parent account information such as email address and account identifiers.
- Family, child-profile and paired-device identifiers.
- Installed-app metadata needed to show and manage apps on a paired child device.
- App-usage and screen-time information used for usage insights and limits.
- Parent-configured rules, app limits and device-protection settings.
- Child requests and messages sent through Reinor.
- Push-notification tokens and basic service/device status information.
- Technical logs and diagnostics when needed to operate, secure or troubleshoot the service.
The current release does not require location permission or collect VPN/network-traffic content. If those capabilities are added in a future release, this policy and the in-app disclosures will be updated before that release is made available.
Why we use this information
- To create and secure parent accounts.
- To pair Parent and Child devices.
- To show app usage and screen-time insights.
- To apply parent-configured app limits and restrictions.
- To deliver child requests and parent responses.
- To send service and parental-control notifications.
- To maintain reliability, prevent abuse and investigate technical or security issues.
Reinor does not use family data for targeted advertising and does not sell personal information.
Accessibility, Usage Access and Device Admin
Reinor Child may ask the parent or guardian to enable Android Usage Access, Accessibility Service and Device Admin features. Reinor shows an in-app explanation before directing the user to Android settings.
Usage Access is used to measure app usage and screen time. Accessibility Service is used for parental-control functions such as detecting when a restricted app becomes active and presenting the corresponding Reinor limit experience. Device Admin can be enabled to help protect the parental-control setup from being removed without first disabling that protection.
Reinor does not use Accessibility Service to read passwords, private messages or payment information, and it is not used for advertising.
Service providers
Reinor uses Google and Firebase services for functions such as authentication, cloud data storage, notifications and backend processing. These providers may process information on Reinor's behalf according to their applicable service terms and privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
Reinor keeps account and family data for as long as it is needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve technical issues or meet applicable legal obligations.
Parents can request deletion from the Parent app under Settings → Account → Delete account & data, or use the instructions on the Delete account page. When the deleting parent is the only parent linked to the family, Reinor's deletion workflow removes the associated family data and linked Reinor authentication accounts. If another parent remains in the family, the deleting parent's account and family membership are removed without deleting the remaining family's data.
Security
Reinor uses technical and access-control measures intended to protect family information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so we also encourage parents to keep their Google account, phone and device access secure.
Children's information
Reinor is provided to the parent or legal guardian, who authorizes and configures use of the Child app for a device under their care. Reinor is not designed as a social network, advertising service or public content platform for children.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can contact Reinor to ask a privacy question or make a data request.
Contact
Privacy and data requests can be sent to [email protected].
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Reinor changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page and the effective date will be updated.
